OceanaGold Corporation’s corporate office is based in Melbourne, Australia. Apart from the Junctions Reef joint venture located in central New South Wales – which OceanaGold acquired through its merger with Climax Mining in 2006, the Company owns no other Australian assets.
Philippines
OceanaGold Corporation acquired the Didipio Gold Copper Project located approximately 270 kilometres north of Manila in Luzon Island, Philippines through the Climax Mining merger in November 2006. The project was put on care and maintenance in December 2008 pending an improvement in the credit markets.
Reserves & Resources

As at 31 December 2009, OceanaGold had total Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources of 5.83Moz of gold and 0.28Mt of copper and Inferred Mineral Resources of 3.34Moz of gold and 0.06Mt of copper. This includes Mineral Reserves of 3.59Moz of gold and 0.19Mt of copper.
